Fıratpen was awarded with “Passive House” Certificate ‘Redonit 85’ Series in Germany!
Being the pioneer of the PVC Windows Sector, Fıratpen supplies the demand for windows that have high insulation and energy-saving features preferred in “Passive House” applications, which is a modern and innovative trend, with “REDONİT 85” series.

Awarded with the “Passive House Component Certificate” issued by the German Passive House Institute (PHI) Fıratpen continues to manufacture for a more sustainable world by providing utmost insulation and energy saving levels with its Redonit 85 series.
The correct and efficient use of energy even more important in recent years as a result of the global problems such as climate crisis, environmental pollution, increasing energy costs and limited energy resources. The population of cities continues to increase today due to the aspects of migration, industrialization and urbanization. With the increasing population, the resources consumed for heating and cooling buildings with poor insulation characteristics causes an increase in our carbon footprint and the harm caused to the environment grows exponentially.
The concept of “Passive House” offers an innovative architectural solution developed with all these sensitivities in mind. “Passive houses” not only offer heat saving but they are also built with a holistic design that takes factors such as ecology, indoor air quality, acoustics, comfort and fire safety, etc. into account and they achieve energy savings of up to 90% compared to old buildings and up to 75% compared to new buildings. Windows account for heat losses in buildings at a rate ranging between 30-40% and this fact attaches more importance to windows with superior insulation properties.
Being a building standard intended for comfortable, economical, environmentally friendly and energy efficient domiciles, “Passive House” is an environmentally friendly approach where comfortable indoors can be achieved with maximum savings without active heating and cooling systems.
Redonit stands out as a quality window for innovative buildings by achieving maximum insulation reaching 0.95 W/m²K Uf values with its 85 mm profile width, 3 seal (middle seal) system and 7-chamber design. (Uf: Profile Section Thermal conductivity coefficient)
A 85 mm wide profile design allows triple glazing application and low Ug values (Ug: Glass Thermal Conductivity Coefficient) improve the insulation power of Redonit. Uw values of 0.79 W/m²K can be achieved and projects with high energy savings can be produced successfully with the combination of profile cross-section and triple glazing systems in buildings where Redonit is preferred. (Uw: Window Thermal Conductivity Coefficient)
