As Fırat Plastik Kauçuk Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“FIRAT”; “FIRATPEN”) we exercise utmost sensitivity in terms of the security of your personal data. By adopting this awareness, as FIRAT, we attach great importance to the processing and preservation of all kinds of personal data belonging to all persons associated with FIRAT, including dealers who benefit from our products and services in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”), the secondary arrangements (regulations, communiqués, circular letters) enacted and to be enacted in accordance with the Law, and the binding decisions taken and to be taken by the Personal Data Protection Board. We are processing your personal data as explained below and within the limits prescribed by the legislation with the full discernment of this responsibility and with the title of “Data Controller” as defined in the Law.
I. Details of the Data Controller: Pursuant to the Law, the Data Controller is Fırat Plastik Kauçuk Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., registered in İstanbul Trade Registry Directorate with the registration number 424/4, MERSİS number 0386004182500018, residing at the address of “Türkoba Mahallesi Fırat Plastik Caddesi No: 23 Büyükçekmece İstanbul, Türkiye”.
II. Purposes of Processing the Personal Data: Your personal data is processed by FIRAT for the following purposes;
- To inform you about all kinds of products, services and campaigns offered,
- To determine your information in order to prevent loss of your rights in all kinds of commercial transactions you have entered into with FIRAT,
- To fulfill FIRAT's obligation to act as a prudent merchant in commercial transactions,
- To provide the products and services you demand in line with your needs,
- To inform you about the strategic and administrative decisions made by FIRAT,
- To manage of customer relationships, determine marketing strategies and to conduct statistical studies when necessary,
- To ensure your safety and follow-up in case you visit FIRAT headquarters, branches or production facilities,
- Fulfillment of our obligations set forth by the law and legislation
In accordance with the law, rules of honesty and always in connection, limited and moderated manner for these purposes within the limits specified in the Law.
III. Transfer of Personal Data: Your personal data may be transferred to real persons and legal entities, private or public institutions, public institutions authorized to audit, judicial and administrative judicial authorities when necessary, personnel and supervisors of FIRAT sales and marketing unit, company shareholders, banks and financial institutions in order to fulfill payments and financial obligations, organizations that we act as intermediary for and are agents of, program partner organizations that we receive services or cooperate with to carry out our activities, and logistics companies that we have contracted for the shipment of your orders; for the purposes listed above, in accordance with the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.
IV. The Method of and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data: Your personal data is collected verbally, in writing or electronically by the Purchasing and Finance Department, Headquarters and real persons or legal entities that process data as authorized by FIRAT, by means of automatic and non-automatic methods such as e-mail, phone, website, various contracts, printed forms and reports. In this context, we process personal data of the contact persons of our dealers with whom we have a business relationship, in form of name-surname, Turkish ID number, signature, workplace address, cell phone number, e-mail address and position in accordance with paragraphs 1/a-c-ç-e-f of Article 5 of the Law, provided that no harm is caused to the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned and based on the legal reason of FIRAT's legitimate interests.
V. Rights of the Data Subject: By applying to FIRAT at any time, you can in respect of your personal data
- Learn whether it is processed, the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, and request information if it is the case,
- In accordance with the Law, learn about third parties at home and abroad with whom your information is shared,
- May request correction if you believe that your information is incomplete or processed incorrectly,
- May request deletion or destruction of your information pursuant to the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
- May request that the third parties to whom your information is transferred to are notified of your requests specified in paragraphs © and (d) and require them to perform the same actions,
- You may object to the occurrence of a consequence against you due to the analysis of your information by automated systems; or you may request the compensation of the damage if you believe that your information has been recorded or used in violation of the law and you have suffered damage for this reason.
If the application you make for these purposes requires an additional cost, you will be required to pay the fee determined by the Communique on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller enacted by the Personal Data Protection Board. In case of a written response to your application, no fee will be charged up to the first 10 (ten) pages, and a transaction fee of TL 1 will be charged for each page in excess of 10 (ten) pages. If the response to your application is given in a recording medium such as CD, flash memory stick, etc., you will be charged the cost of the recording medium. Your requests in your application will be finalized as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. You can submit your applications to FIRAT in writing, provided that they are in Turkish in order to exercise your rights under the Law and you can visit FIRAT's website for detailed information.
You may submit your applications using either of the following methods;
1. Submitting a copy of your application bearing wet signature to the address “Türkoba Mahallesi Fırat Plastik Caddesi No: 23 Büyükçekmece İstanbul, Türkiye” by hand or through a notary public,
2. Using your KEP (Registered Electronic Mail) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or your e-mail address previously notified to FIRAT by you and registered in FIRAT's system to any of kvkk@firat.com or firatplastik@hs03.kep.tr e-mail addresses.

In the application that you have made as a personal data owner to exercise your aforementioned rights and that includes your explanations regarding the right you request to exercise; the matter of youR request must be clear and understandable, the subject you request must be relevant to you as an individual or if you are acting on behalf of someone else, you will need to submit your special power of attorney certified by a notary public.
It is mandatory to include name-surname, signature, Turkish ID number, residence or business address, e-mail address, phone and fax number, and the subject of the request in your applications pursuant to the “Communique on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”. Applications that do not contain those items will be rejected by FIRAT. FIRAT always reserves the right to amend this clarification text for reasons arising from the Law, secondary arrangements and Board decisions. The amendments to be made in the clarification text and the updated text shall become immediately effective as of the date they are notified to you.
