System
- All system profiles of the Selenit Series have a width of 75 mm.
- All architectural and technical details can be accommodated with detail profiles integrated into the main profiles.
- Glazing bead profiles can enable accommodating triple glazing.
- The design that facilitates water drainage ensures high water tightness.
- Sash sagging is prevented thanks to the hinge support sheet possibility.
- Oval bead structure ensures aesthetic integrity.
- Exclusive 3 seal system design is absolutely air and water tight. 3 seal system is available in Selenit Strong and class "A" wall thickness Selenit Selective Strong series.
- It offers various decorative solutions with single, double and triple glazing beads.
- Provides excellent thermal insulation with 6-chamber frame and sash profiles.
- The system is compatible with 13 axis espagnolettes.
- The system can be installed to high-rise buildings thanks to its strength values.
- Features 22 different lamination color alternatives with different shades and textures and options suitable for indoor and outdoor environments.
Wind Load Resistance
- Particular attention was paid to the strength criteria of the PVC profiles, the moments of inertia of the support sheets to be used in the system and the related "wind load resistance" have been taken into account while designing Selenit.
- It offers new solutions that can be utilized safely for high-rise buildings and covering large openings.
- The mullion profiles of the system can easily provide ideal strength values when it is desired to cover large openings in the architectural design.
- The high strength values of the Selenite System successfully passed the 3,000 Pa (245 km/h) safety test and entered the C3 class in the wind load classification.
Water and Air Tightness
- Selenit Series is designed with 3 seal systems to keep air and water permeability at the lowest levels. The 3-seal system is valid for Selenit Strong and Selenit Selective Strong series with "A" class wall thickness.
- The prevention of air passage from exterior to interior, which is a necessary for conservation of energy, is reinforced using a center seal in addition to the standard inner and outer seal.
- The design of the profiles allow discharge of the rainwater that may flow into the system to the exterior by the means of slopes and drainage channels in the profile.
- No water leak has occurred to the indoors during the tests carried out under 600 Pa (110 km/h) wind load and rain of 4 liters per minute, proving its quality.
Thermal Insulation
- Selenit System achieved the values of Uf: 1.02 W/m2 °K -Uw: 0.94 W/m2 °K in the tests carried out according to TS EN ISO 10077-2 standard using glazing with the dimensions of 1.23 m x 1.43 m and Ug: 0.6 W/m2 °K.
- The main profiles of the Selenit Series have 6 chambers and the chambers are large. Thus, it was made possible to minimize the heat conduction coefficient value to the lowest levels.
- Insulation performance in Selenit Strong and Selenit Selective Strong series have been taken to the best level possible for a PVC window system thanks to the 3rd center seal.
- Profiles of Selenit Series have been designed to achieve the lowest levels of heat conduction coefficients.
Sound Insulation
- It is possible to ensure sound insulation up to 43 dB by the means of Selenit window systems.
- Selenit Series offers adequate noise levels even in environments where very high noise levels are inherent such as airports, railways, etc.
- It is possible to achieve sound insulation levels as high as 43 dB thanks to the acoustic glazing which can be used with the system.
